The Dress Theory has been the iconic independent bridal boutique in the PNW for the free-spirited, feminine, and fashion forward bride since 2012. Our gowns are covetable yet comfortable. We don't carry traditional, "typical" wedding dresses. If you're searching for a big selection of ball gowns or sparkle, we may not be the best use of your wedding planning time. We keep our instagram and lookbook updated with our unique and distinct style of gowns. We love sleek and chic shapes, gowns without a lot of structure, and wedding dresses that feel effortless. Our bride is never underdressed or overdone.
We're inspired by our real brides and real women. Our bride is effortless and fascinating and would never dream of wearing a traditional gown on her wedding day. She's unique and intentional about her style, so why wouldn't she be on her wedding day? We carefully curate a selection of gowns that are comfortable, commanding, and very, very cool just for a bride like you. It's a place where we celebrate beauty and optimism daily with our brides. Our boutique takes one private appointment at a time in hopes of creating an unforgettable, cherished memory of finding your wedding dress with us surrounded by your close friends and family. All of our brides work one on one with our stylists so we can help you find the unique and non-traditional gown of your dreams. We only have a few boutiques in select and special cities to us because we firmly believe in their thriving local and small business communities. We know that our brides value our boutique experience with personalized and intimate private appointments that are unlike any other wedding dress shopping experience in our area. Because we are just one appointment at a time to give you the best experience we can, we hope that you understand why our calendars book up far in advance and why we have a 48 hour cancellation policy.
Our Seattle boutique is open by private appointment only, please call or email us to schedule your one-on-one bridal appointment with one of our stylists who cannot wait to help you find your dress! We dream of giving brides an intimate and personalized experience, so we only take one bridal appointment at time. That means you'll have our gorgeous Green Lake boutique to yourself while we dress shop together. We require 48 hour cancellation for this reason as well. We are a small business aiming to give brides the best experience we can with only one appointment at a time, but we know things may come up. As much cancellation notice as possible is greatly appreciated!
