We love seeing our GALA by Galia Lahav gowns on our brides every day of the year, but we are so excited to be hosting a trunk show with the designer's signature collection, Galia Lahav Couture. Dresses from the new Le Secret Royal Collection will be in our Seattle boutique one weekend only, January 6-8.
How are these gowns different than the GALA collection we carry year round?
The Galia Lahav Couture collection is the original, couture collection by the renowned and sought-after Israeli designer. The gowns are made in-house by top couturier seamstresses and have the most incredible fit we've ever seen! This first-class fit is done through extensive measurements for each bride. Much more than all the other made-to-order gowns we carry! We usually take 3-5 measurements and then use our sizing charts to find the size that works best with your measurements. For these couture gowns there can be up to 20-40 measurements! All this measuring madness leads to an exquisite fit that makes the gowns appear as if they were designed and made just for you! Brides will still need the final tailoring done in person with a bridal alterations specialist as there is no way to get a completely custom measurement gown fitting perfectly without doing some of the fitting process in person. Beyond their incredible fit, these gowns are intricate and extravagant. Galia Lahav does the best illusion backs and necklines that we've seen in the five years we've been in business! The couture gowns are for a bride looking to make a glamorous, dramatic statement. There is nothing subtle about these dresses! The prices start around $9,000 and go up from there.
The GALA collection is the designer's new line. GALA launched less than two years ago for boutiques just like The Dress Theory! The new line is softer and a bit more bohemian. We carry some of the GALA collection all the time, so even if the Galia Lahav trunk show isn't what you're looking for, come try these beauties on! They are some of our favorite gowns in the boutique! The new GALA line dresses are price around $4000 to $7500 and we always have them at our Seattle and Nashville boutiques right now.
