See that picture? It’s an old iPhone snap from a Rime Arodaky runway show. It was so beautiful. The light, the space, the dresses too of course.

But why this is the perfect first picture for this stroll down memory lane, this is a photo that our buyer Gianna took at her very first runway show. In fact, it was Gianna’s very first bridal market ever!

Seven bridal markets later, things are a little different this year. Bridal Fashion Weeks in Barcelona, New York, London, and across the world were cancelled or postponed with the current pandemic. That does not mean we will not have new dresses for you though! Our designers are getting quite creative! However, it does mean that we didn’t go to market this April in the traditional sense. Instead of the beautiful photos we would’ve taken in person, we decided to share our favorite wedding dresses and moments from our buyers’ past NY trips. First up, our Nashville buyer - Gianna!

What makes bridal market so special?

Gianna: Wedding dresses, runway shows, buying appointments, and time together! My favorite part of bridal market is involving all of our brides.

What’s your favorite part?

Gianna: I love posting “this or that” instagram polls getting feedback from our real brides. We make the final decisions based on many factors but I love getting to know our instagram family more, discovering who loves all crepe simple Sarah Seven gowns, or perhaps a bohemian dress with bell sleeves and embroidery by Rue de Seine. I love the fusion of interacting with our brides and curating the perfect collection to bring in to our shops! Whether it’s fitted and sexy, or oh-so flowy and romantic, we chose each dress specifically for our brides.
